Question about shipping from ebay

Hey everyone. I am sorry if this question is in the incorrect area but I know a lot of you all sell not only on eBay and outside of eBay. I have a currency note that is currently on eBay and I have been asked to ship it to Brazil registered mail. However when I went to the USPS website it states that currency notes, gold, metal, stones and other items can not be mailed into Brazil. However they also say there are exceptions to this rule but I can not find anything about the exceptions. The note is a 1893 Brazil note. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then question the manner in which I provide it. I prefer you said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand to post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!

Be sure to declare full value of the item on customs form and make the buyer pay full insurance.
<< <i>I think you need to check the customs manual for info on this. Currency restrictions are normally on spendable moneys if your item is a obsolete currency note you may be in the loop hole of being able to send it as a collectible item.

Insurance basically doesn't exist for international Registered mail (up to $47) so be sure to get outside coverage. I've never had a problem sending coins internationally; I declare them as collectibles.
