Double die?

I posted a picture of a 1965 SMS dime a day or so ago and decided to put it under magnification and the front looked a little odd to me so I went back through the archives here and looked at double die pictures and couldn't really tell if this is one or not. So I tried to take a good picture through my little magnifier and this is the best I could get. Double die?

Looks like mechanical or shelf doubling to me.

Hey scooter...from what we can see in the loops of the B & R, it appears to be 'mechanical doubling' but it is difficult to see if any of the serifs on the ends of the letters are split.

yeah I can't get it big enough to see that close. I think I need a better magnifying glass. Mine is a 10X . I don't understand how you guys get such good pictures being so close. I guess I will go back into the archives and try to get an answer.
