Nice price paid for a 1980 TCMA Sandberg PSA 7

Good to see the 80's get some love:

1980 Sandberg PSA 7

12 cards graded higher than this one. Was a nice price. He got the asking price after only receiving one other offer after it was out there about 2 months. I was only going to offer about half of what he received. Good for him!

Cool card, although I don't think it sold. Looks like the listing was just ended.

That card did not sell. If it did it would say sold instead of price in the auction listing.

  • wow, I grew up outside of philly and I recall having dozens of those sets... a store called " Mitchell's " used to sell them for like a buck or two

  • That card is pretty much the pre-rookie card to have of Ryno. Its the earliest issue, pretty tough to come by, and has significant condition issues when graded. The asking price was a bit high for the PSA 7, probably pretty close to an 8 value. I would personally be at about $800 for the 7.

I would love to upgrade mine to a 9 one day.

Beautiful card! There's only 1 in 9. None in 10. Hope you get it someday.
