Log into ebay and see if it is in "my messages", if it isn't you should change your password etc., in fact you should probably do it anyway, especially if ebay or you think your account could have been comrpomised
<< <i>yeah its from ebay. I has my actual name on the top of the email. Its asking to confirm some personal information and to call their customer support. >>
never believe emails and never click anything in them. go to the site. if its something that serious, you will see an obvious sign.
I get an email last night after posting a bin listing which a prospective buyer made an offer on two of my cards which I accepted so I combined them in one bin listing which he quickly bought and paid for. The email from ebay(and also found in my messages was MC999 unusual activity action required please contact customer service to confirm some information.
so im wondering what information they need and how quick they can review my account so i can upload some listings?

<< <i>they are cracking down hard on negotiating through their mail system. they probably think you were trying to avoid a fee with how you handled the transaction. i just got the exact same warning for a similar situation. clearly, they have started to read in system mail. >>
have you called their customer service to resolve the issue?
thanks again
its a real dicey issue as like many sellers i have literally dozens of regular customers who i am happy to work with and have done so for years.

with your transaction. I'm sure they'll lift any limit they may have imposed on your
acct. Since all you really did was combine two items into one lot and it sold
on their sight. There shouldn't be any issues with that. They (ebay) are still getting
their final value cut and probably paypal as well.
