well i just bought a 1956 proof franklin half dollar and saw there were 2 types and was wondering if somebody could post close up shots of both types so i can see which one i have. i think i might have a type 1 which is the rarer of the 2 types.


for the people wondering it only cost me 2 90% half dollars in trade.

The type 1 is by far scarcer. The type 2 is considered by many to be the most common available in ultra high grade cameo (PF-68+).
