Prices realized should be posted in about a half hour. I do believe that they sent outbid notices, but if not that's something they could implement for sure in the near future.
From what I understand, sell through rate was about 80% and prices realized were quite strong. Laura was very happy (now there's a sight!). The 1911 $20 sold for almost $145k!
I am not a registered bidder yet viewed the auction lots multiple times online - I simply don't understand the issue here and suspect user error in this case.
The other issues are definitely being addressed. This was a good test auction and there will be plenty of lessons learned
The only thing I can think of is when you click on the online catalog link it discusses the need for registration to bid - but there is a link to continue on to the online catalog. It does indeed take an extra click, but didn't seem confusing at the time (to me, anyways).
And one can ALWAYS leave their bid with Legend to have it executed.
I had difficulty registering on my ipad, and since there was nothing I was really interested in, I did not pursue it further. Nonetheless, I had no difficulty viewing the lots as an unregistered viewer.

Apparently, an app is required in order to register on an ipad. Why it doesn't detect and state this is one of those lesson learned items.

I think it was pretty obvious that registration was going to require me to move to the computer. Like I said, I was not sufficiently motivated to pursue, but I expect that I will be in the future.
I received an invoice this afternoon and that was my only notification that I won. There's no link or anything, just a pdf attachment and it only mentions sending a check. The terms on the site mention it is possible to use a credit card or PayPal for items under $2500 but there is no direct way to simply pay in that manner. I sent an email inquiry to that effect but have not yet received a response.
Does anybody know when the auction officially ended? I know it went live at 5PM, but then what?

You will be notified if you were the successful bidder for this lot
The above is still in place. I wonder when I'll know if I really won my coin?
I am in no rush for an invoice and am sure they are checking to make sure things are right.

I will be consigning to the next auction in December.

<< <i>Just looked at the prices realized. I don't think I got a single coin. So much for picking off the little guys.
Hey I resemble that!
