I should get doubles of them. When I do I will PM you so I can send some your way.
I have went through around 60 packs so far. They were all retail though. I have posted a few videos on Youtube of opening them. I have completed a base set and got a bunch of green and silver parallels plus some of the other inserts. I have yet to hit a sketch card or a printing plate.
I have two hobby boxes on the way as well. I am hoping I get lucky with those.
Everything I opened have been the retail packs as well. I hit one gold (super manny card) and one sketch. I think I have one set put together. I am not going to try for the super set of all the different parallels. I did that with the Mars Attacks set. Too much effort and dollars.
As an aside, I just sent in my original set of first series (1985) to PSA. I figured it was worth the money to protect them. Don't know what kind of grades I will get, but I am looking forward to it.

Good luck with the grades. The first series is getting pricey. I wish I had already picked one up.
In the mid 1990s (1995-96 or so), I bought a full box of first series and opened all the packs. It was pricey back then. I think I paid $800 (might have been $1200) for the box. For something that was only 12 or so years old, that was allot. I was able to put together one complete set without the gum stained cards and without the wax stained cards. It was difficult. The good thing about the box I got was that I was fortunate enough to get cards with great centering. On these old series, you can bank on one card being ruined by gum stains and one with wax stains leaving you with three good cards per pack.
I still have the gum stained cards from that box. Actually, I still have all the extras. I don't know what kind of price they would sell for on the Bay, but I might try it and find out. For what sealed packs are going for, I think folks are nuts. You are essentially paying $75 for three good cards ($25 each). I guess you can remove the wax on the one card, but it still leaves a mark.

<< <i>I bought 25 packs from the local Target and scored a sketch card. I was pretty thrilled by it. >>
Yea those sketches are nice. I hope to get a couple hobby boxes next weekend.
<< <i>I was surprised that the distribution of the sketches is 1 per 463 packs. Mars Attacks was one per box, so it was easier to score. >>
Yea those are pretty steep odds. You did good getting one.
<< <i>Any new updates from anyone? >>
