I HAVE AN ORIGINAL CARSON CITY MORGAN DOLLAR BAG (LARGE SIZE) FRAMED

HELLO, I AM NEW TO THIS FORUM AND I THOUGHT I MIGHT FIND SOMEONE INTERESTED IN PURCHASING AN ORIGINAL US MINT (CARSON CITY) MORGAN DOLLAR BAG. THE BAG ACTUALLY HAS WEAR MARKS THAT SHOW SOME IMAGES OF THE OUTLINES OF THE COINS. AS I MENTIONED IN THE TITLE, THE BAG IS FRAMED AND IS IN WONDERFUL CONDITION. A REALLY NICE COLLECTORS' PIECE. I AM WILLING TO SEND PHOTOS TO ANYONE THAT IS INTERESTED.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, PLEASE CONTACT ME @ COMMONWEALTHCOIN1@GMAIL.COM

Probably not a good idea to display your e-mail addy on a public forum, just sayin.
Turn on your PM function by clicking the profile tab at the top right of the page, scroll down to Allow Private Messages, select yes.
Good luck, sounds like an item that someone hear will be all over,

Sounds interesting. Can we at least see a pic?

Poster put his email address in his post, so poster has no intention of ever coming back to this post again. Since poster could not follow posted rules about where to post his post, I doubt poster could figure out how to post picture as a post-script to this post either.

Based on his e-mail address, he sounds like he may be a coin dealer. I doubt if he could sell anything expensive here with his very low post count unless he was willing to ship on approval before payment.

I bet you can guess what happened to that new poster and his thread.

Was this the coin that he said might be worth $250,000 that Mark Feld later determined to be fake?

Considering he only made one post it appears he joined the forum just to spam this bag. Hopefully he'll come back and be an active participant.

In cases like this, they almost always know what they have but join the forum just to sell the coin. A good story (owned by my mother's great grandmother) and hype ($250,000) usually raises a red flag when someone is selling a raw coin in a series that's heavily counterfeited.
