Are they all trimmed in high grade holders? I was looking at some major stars and I don't think any of them are any good. I looked at like 10-20 cards. Very sad. I sent some cards to them and never recall any freebees. I'm actually glad I didn't get any. The cards I viewed tonight have about zero chance of selling.

I divested my entire set in the ~2006 timeframe because of trimming and reglossing that has been done to dozens, if not hundreds of 1955 Bowman baseball cards.
There is a wide variation in sizes of all 1955 Bowman baseball cards. In other words, there are a number of potentially oversized cards that have since been trimmed down to "standard" size, but are nonetheless trimmed. In terms of reglossing, I believe there were two main culprits behind this, based out of the greater NY area. I will not name them publicly on this thread.
Most of the high grade 1955 Bowman baseball cards in GAI holders [consider GAI 8.5 or above] have been worked on in some way, shape or form. If you are finding high grade GAI 1955 Bowman baseball cards today, I assure you that a number of collectors have been duped, tried to cross and failed. I can probably name at least four or five of those collectors off the top of my head...
I also believe a smaller # of similarly-messed with cards ended up in both PSA and SGC holders. I can think of a specific number of Ernie Banks and Willie Mays MINT cards that hit the market in the 2003-2005 timeframe.
Buyer beware.
