1968-D Silver Half - tripled reverse?

I found this today while searching a box of half dollars for silver. It's pretty severely doubled, maybe even tripled in & around the legend.
The wing tips on the eagle as well as the leaf sprig thing in the claw shows doubling.
I don't see it listed in my cherrypicker guide. Did I find anything significant here? My closeup shots are not great, but maybe you can see some of what I'm seeing.

I'm not seeing any splits in the serifs, looks like mechanical strike doubling to me. Sorry.

You both could be right. It sure is dramatic under a loupe.
I bought a dyno light magnifier a year ago or so and the thing has crapped out and died already.
If it was still able to take closeup images I would have a better chance of showing off the doubling.

We've had our little dino lite for a few years now and it is still "so-so" but here are a few pictures of my favorite 1968-D DDR Kennedy half dollar

The OP's coin is nothing more than common Maching Damage Doubling. It does not matter which level of magnification is being used, it'll still be MDD.

CALEB's coin, on the other hand, is a very nice example of Authentic Hub Doubling which Variety Collector's look for!
