ebay/paypal arbitration opt out option

FWIW came across this info on those opt out messages we are getting from ebay/paypal. Maybe one of our legal minds here will give an opinion.

Nothing worse than "winning" a class action suit and getting some form of scrip or wampum.
I guess getting a group of people together to form a Class and sue eBay for charging us sellers "Final Value Fee's" on "Actual" postage paid is going to get tougher!
I could understand them charging additional fee's for exhorbitant handling charges but the bottom line is that if PayPal is used, then eBay knows EXACTLY what you paid to ship the item. They share the signature and mailing confirmation numbers already. Why not shipping fee's?
The name is LEE!
<< <i>I don't have a problem with arbitration. Our legal system is way too complex and full of greedy lawyers, and arbitration is a good alternative to going to court. ebay's biggest fear is a class action where they get sued into bankruptcy. >>
Arbitration proceedings often lack the right to appeal. No one person is perfect, and I'm sure arbitrators make mistakes.
