10 Gram Elephant Bar

I picked up this 10 Gram Silver Bar with a strange shape
and an elephant on it. Ever see anything like it??
Does this elephant bar have any special meaning or purpose??

    That's interesting but i don't think a European silversmith would have indicated .999 silver in the manner displayed on the Elephant piece.They used letters and proper hallmarks.
    I don't think it was jewelry either as there's no fixtures to indicate that type of use,i think it's fairly modern and Dorkgirl has probably nailed it with temple souvineer.

    It makes more sense to me too what DorkGirl said. It is just curious how the T looks the same in both the bar and Tait's hallmark.
