Secure Plus Submission Results

I haven't submitted coins for grading to pcgs in a couple of years, but I want to participate in one of the registry sets, especially since the host started the S+ system, so I decided to rejoin. I did the platinum level with the 8 vouchers, selected the secure plus, and sent in some of my raw coins. I was totally impressed with the photos of the coins they take with this service. Yes a few came back no grades but that is ok because they are still quality coins (a little verdigris and some light wiped cleaning that I couldn't really see). And I did get one + grade, that particular coin catches your attention when you see it in hand.

I'll leave my orders shared for a couple days. I will definitely have my registry set visible once it is completed.

Congrats on getting your feet wet again, competing in the Set Registry is a fun and addicting way to enjoy collecting. And they even have there own forum for us. Good luck with building your set. Enjoy And yes I love how you can use the vouchers and send in under secure plus and hope they do not ever change that.............

I'm still not really sure how the vouchers work... is one voucher good for one coin? or does one voucher cover the entire submission form?
My understanding was that each voucher equalled one coin, so eight vouchers would cover eight coins.

Yes when you do the membership you can buy the 8 coin package or the 4 coin package and only 1 voucher for either one and all coins must be submitted together.............you can find the info here...........pcgs collectors club membership Enjoy

Speaking of secure plus, does anyone know what happens on a crossover that's, say, currently graded 55, your minimum grade cross is 50, and you check 'do not genuine'. PCGS evaluates your holdered coin and they think it will cross per your minimum grading threashold. They crack it but it then fails the sniffer? What do they do, send it back raw?
