CC $20 GTG....grade revealed down in the post

I just picked this up this morning, what do you think ? The luster is a bit more lively on the reverse and my pics are a bit dark.

    EF40. That obverse though softly struck has got to ding the grade.

    XF45 Nice original coin and not as baggy as most circulated double eagles.

  • I have been looking for a special Double Eagle recently and a CC piece is a strong contender for the selection, I saw that coin and strongly considered it too. Well bought.

    I always liked those old small sized ANACS slabs. If it were my coin I would leave that coin right where it is.
