Exactly HOW Great is Eric Newmans Collection?

I think a lot of incredible pieces repose there and will either become a windfall to the ANA or be the last of the Mega Auctions ( Eliasberg, Ford). Thoughts?

    When it comes time for Mr. Newman's collection to be dispersed, I sincerely hope that collectors of the day will be allowed the same opportunity to acquire coins from his collection just as he was afforded those opportunities from the collectors before him.

    That wont happen. He has his Museum in ST Louis at Washington University. That is where his collection is rotated out.

    I knew Eric for seven years. I've broken bread with him and his family. I didn't know he collected coins at that time. I didn't collect coins at the time. Matter of fact I didn't have two nickels to rub together back then.
