I have a question about this service. I was just wondering what types of chemical tests on coins are done under this service? What exactly does the sniffer pick up? Does a coin have to be 100% original in order to make it into a Secure Plus holder or are certain dips and/or rinses allowed? Does anyone know? Thanks.

Think of the sniffer as a sort of DNA test. Part of the whole concept was to "LOCK IN" the grade and have no stone left unturned. A dipped coin can make it into a SP holder. Dipping is nothing more than a fancy way of saying "impurities were removed" within specific tolerances in the industry
... and if any coin were ever altered subsequent to being in the SP holder, the proof would be in the pudding, due to that initial DNA testing procedure (SP).
That's how I perceive it (Secure Plus) in layman's terms.
Someone will tell me if this isn't so.
