Neat Error Find In Change This Morn

I have gotten a handful of blank cents in change or roll finds, never a dime:

Curiously enough I was buying a drink in a Subway restaurant and the clerk noticed it as he was starting to hand it to me and he indicated he would give me a "real" dime. I told him I would take it even if it was a slug like he suspected. He finally said - "your loss" and handed it to me with the rest of the change. Checked the edge and sure enough there is the copper core and the upset rims so it is a blank.

<< <i>If it has upset rims it is a planchet. They are blanks before getting the upset rims and become planchets after. At least that is what I have been told. >>
Type 1 planchet ... no upset rim
Type 2 planchet ... upset rim

<< <i>Yes, but what's the date on it?
Odds are about 50: 50 it's an '11 or '12. There's a small chance of it being made in '10.
