I spoke with one of his fellow workers who said Brad has moved on from Heritage Auctions. I don't see him listed on the "about us" page anymore:

Bummer, he was my contact there. Any info on Brad would be appreciated. He's originally from my neck of the woods.

Just got a return email from him-and yes, he's no longer with Heritage. He was from my neck of the woods, too-a fellow variety cherrypicker, in fact. He also was my contact with Heritage.

I thought one of the main purposes of an auction company WAS to get the best prices for their consignors. At least, that's what they claim.

No, believe it or not, the main reason to form a company is to make money for the company shareholders. It's hard to believe, but true.
