I'm only happy to the point that I can spot a laughably fake one.
Those are the only ones I can report.
Until I know details down to die diagnostics and die marriages, I'm not reporting anything else. Basically, I don't even bother thinking of reporting it unless it is terrible.
This one was terrible. The dentils and lack of them, the rim, the 4. terrible.
That "coin" was so far off. Anyone who bothered to look at a real one would be able to tell immediately that it was a fake. I'm glad it has been removed. Here a genuine 1874-S.

ty. i did look up the 1892 S quarter that was mentioned and wanted to confirm i had the right account sign i organize seller's accounts and images that have listed/sold counterfeits .
I totally disagree with this statement. It is worth the time to report any fake. I have reported some fakes that were not in these threads and most of them ebay did not remove. I think It takes more than one or two reports to ebay to get a fake removed. If it takes a thread to remove a fake from ebay, please start one. If you start a thread here on a fake coin-It is likely to removed by ebay because they either monitor these threads (which I doubt-but they might), or they remove an auction after so many reports-which in my opinion is what they do. I think we also get a lot of people to report items but do not respond to the threads.
The 1890cc Morgan and 1892s Barber quarter he has up look fake too.
