More nice photographic work from PCGS TrueView ...

This MS63 Morgan Dollar is in an Old Green Holder, and it was not cracked out. So this stunning shot was taken through the slab plastic. An incredible job! Thanks Phil and PCGS TrueView.

Wow, congrats on a great coin and photo WL1957 and Phil!

Is this the first in-slab TrueView?

    Cool.

When you filled out the form to get this done, did you just check the TV portion and didn't have anything to be graded on that submission?
Wondering how best to get something like this done and not run into issues with potential crackouts/grading/etc.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Interesting, I thought TrueView refuses to shoot slabbed coins image

Morgansforever, yes, robec had a shot at this too, he also did a really great job. Shooting through plastic certainly adds a degree of difficulty.

Zoins, no this is not the first through-the-slab TrueView. There have been quite a few (mostly Old Green Holder stuff).

Bochiman, Yes, I was worried about the same thing. So I did a few things extra ...
    1. I used a paper submission form (not the online submission form) and JUST had this one coin listed on the form
    2. I wrote in big letters underneath the itemized coin (in the inventory block) that this was NOT to be cracked out but simply photographed through the slab
    3. I rubber-banded a piece of paper with "Do not crack out" written on it around the slab.
    4. It didn't fit into any of the "Service Group" categories (Standard Service US, Secure Plus US, etc.) so I left all boxes unchecked
    5. It didn't fit into any of the "Type of Submission" categories (Grading, Regrade, Crossover, Reholder) so I left everything unchecked on that line
    6. Under "Service Level", I simply checked "Other" and wrote in "TrueView Photo"
    7. The Fee Calculation was just $10 for the TrueView photo and the standard $8 handling charge (plus shipping)
It's interesting but when I checked this order on my online orders page through the PCGS website,
in the Service Level column where PCGS would normally show the words "Economy, or Regular, or Express" ... they wrote in "Free"
probably because the coin was not being regraded or reslabbed (I am guessing).
