I don't understand the prices they mention in this, is the article wrong?
"And last month President Obama signed the National Baseball Hall of Fame Commemorative Coin Act ordering the minting of as many as 50,000 $5 gold coins, sold for $35 apiece, as many as 400,000 $1 silver coins, sold for $10, and as many as 750,000 half-dollar coins, sold for $5."

Yup, and this will be reason CDVII that coin dealers drink: "Someone came into the shop today to buy one of the 'Gold Baseball Coins' they read about, accused me of price gouging when I said it was $480 [or whatever it will cost] instead of $35 like the article said it cost, and said they'd call the Better Business Bureau." Perhaps a quick-witted dealer might say that it's only LA Times that's selling a quarter ounce of gold for $35. Journalistic malpractice needs to have consequences.
