I wish he'd gotten a hit but I'm happy that Dickey didn't let up on him. He gave him the big league treatment which I'm sure is what Greenberg wanted. Great story, baseball still has a heart.

2.5 is pretty much my speed.

    Dude got to strike out against the "pending" 2012 NL Cy Young Award winner. At least he didn't whiff against some no-name middle-reliever.

    I'm glad he got another chance. Dickey said he was not going to groove a pitch, because he didn't think that's what Greenberg wanted. Even though I am a MET fan and a Dickey fan, it would have been nice to see the kid get a hit.

    Still a great story. Very happy for the kid.

    He wanted another chance at a legitimate MLB at bat and he got one. Good for him..

    They are showing that card on Sportscenter after showing highlights of his AB and the game. Thats one I will want for my collection!
