What would you rather see?

Miguel's Triple Crown (or anyone else for that matter), or someone hitting .400?

Neither has happened in my lifetime. I remember how excited I was in 1980 watching Brett flirt with .400 and again in 1994 (if I remember correctly) when Gwynn came close. I'm pretty excited about the potential Triple Crown, but I think I'd rather see a .400 season.

It's interesting, there has been some media attention on the Triple Crown chase, but nothing like I would think it might be if someone was hitting .399 right now.

    Both are pretty impressive.
.400 seems harder, but the Triple Crown is quite the feat.

I would rather see a .400 season but I suspect there is no way that will ever happen again. I just dont see anyone diciplined enough to hit .400.
I am on a budget and I am not afraid to use it!!

.400....without a doubt. A Triple Crown winner would be cool for sure, but .400 is .400.

    Appreciate today-

I'd rather see this thread in the sports forum.
  • They are both impressive. I think the triple crown is easier to achieve because i don't think you have to be quite as consistent. Hitting 2/5 everyday to achieve the .400 average would be tough. Two or three 0'fer days and its hard to catch up.

That wasn't one of the options.

You always have an option to post in the sports forum. image Why don't you? It's pretty busy these days, and it'll get even busier if people would post all of the sports threads there.

Honestly, I've never gone there. I like the guys here a lot, so I've never strayed away. I'll check it out.
