1973 Topps Baseball Basic Set-Complete!

Well....it took about 2 1/2 years, but I finally completed my 1973 Topps Baseball graded set. Wanted to give thanks to members bbuckner, tigerdean, cyco, davidc, backbidder, gemint, and anyone else who helped me on my quest. It was fun...now looking to slowly upgrade and start a new challenge.

Actually 616 ended up being the last card...I bought a raw 593 off of eBay (well centered), subbed it, and it came back a 7...so I was pretty happy just buying that from a scan!

Congrats on completing the set. I'm working on it too. 9s seem to be going for crazy prices recently. Even the Schmidt is going for ~$1k again after dipping down to $700 range for a few years.

I bought my set raw from the guy who won the 1973 Topps set from Topps in 1990 with the contest they ran in the packs that year. Many of the cards were MINT and NM-MT. About 10% were OC and miscut, luckily the Schmidt was fine.
