They have given up leads this last 6 weeks to the Detroit Tigers of 3 games, 3 games, 2 games, and 3 games, and they have lost the last 7/8 games.

I love the Sox, but I will be glad to see them NOT make the playoffs, so I don't have to watch them get swept in the first round.

Well, they will have to, as Hawk puts it, cinch it up and hunker down against TB this weekend. I really thought it was in the cards for the Sox this season with all the quality rookies (Sale, Quintana, DeAza, Tank). Also picking up Wise/Youk for next to nothing and Rios/Dunn having comeback seasons didn't hurt. There is still time, and I know how my Tigers love to collapse so this will be quite interesting these next 7 days. Basically, this division comes down to who sux the least.... The cream of the crap, if you will!
