Wild Lincoln Clash error

At first I thought this was PMD, but the more I look at it, and seeing the letters above "AMERICA" on the reverse, I'm thinking that it's the real deal. Comments welcome.

    PMD, sorry
  • Something like putting a coin on each side of this one and putting it in a vice?

The Obv. has the letters recessed... The reverse above the word "AMERICA" are raised...

Vise, hammer, press, all sorts of ways to make this fake
  • So I'm guessing people practice and just throw it back into circulation... In this same batch I rfound a 95 DDO and a 83 reverse Cud....

I have tried it numerous times to educate myself by seeing the results ....

I can't explain the raised parts but can say there is nothing on the other side of the die that would cause raised nor indented letter like impressions such as those. So, that is not from a clash; I can say that.
