<< <i>The Tigers are a good squad. Much better then Chicago IMO. I know if the Rangers were to have to play either team in the playoffs, I'd personally rather see them play Chicago cause I think the Rangers would sweep them. But, I'd be nervous with a series against Detroit cause I think they are much better than their record indicates

It's funny; I feel like the Tigers are riding this emotional roller coaster ride that is just going to end with a Texas sweep.
If I'm a Tigers fan (which I'm not), I'd be worried that the Justin Verlander of the all-star game shows back up during the playoffs. Guy couldn't get anyone out....It shouldn't comfort anyone that the Tigers Ace has trouble pitching under the brightest lights. We'll see.....
Always buying Bobby Cox inserts. PM me.

<< <i>With the Tigers payroll, they should expect to make the playoffs every year.

Question asked and answered at least for tonight. And that was his "B" game. MJ
Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

That was his A game. No pun intended. MJ

Of the four teams still in the hunt for the crown, the Tigers are clearly the new guy trying to get a seat at the table with the Yankees, Giants and Cardinals.
Of course, if the Tigers win (or lose for that matter) the World Series, I would not want to be anywhere close to downtown Detroit for fear of being caught up in the good citizens of the Motor City engaging in a little "excessive celebration" (or if they lose a little excessive "getting out their frustrations") . Hopefully the local and state authorities will be prepared for the aftermath of a win or a loss.

We did just fine after losing the 2006 World Series. Downtown has come a long way since Bubba and his 1984 celebration.
Best of luck in the World Series
