Error Lincoln ??

I have a 1983 Lincoln proof that has what appears to be a line going thru Lincoln throat..............actually it splits into little dots once it passes thru the neck.......I have tried to take decent photo but they just don't show what I'm talking about.......is there someone I can send the coin too ??..........

Hi, Yes very similiar........only on the obverse and shooting right thru Lincolns neck (sorry best way to describe) breaking up after leaving the neck into dots or (blobs)

not a collectible "problem" coin.

so many zinc-copper lincolns come out like this that it can only be called a "very common problem" with the plating bubbling off the zinc.


no extra value, just something to complain about quality wise.

that is a common problem on zinc coins. there a dime a dozen with no value other then a cent/penny
