Need advice how to sell 200 Topps Baseball PSA 8 Cards

I have (200) 1968 Topps Baseball PSA 8 cards for sale. All of the cards are different and slightly favor more of the higher numbered cards.

For years all I’ve done is buy, buy, and buy. I have sold a few items on Ebay but really I’m a complete novice when it comes to selling; therefore, I need some guidance.

I would like to know what would be the best way to list these 1968 PSA cards on EBay for me to receive at least book prices ($10-$12) for these cards? Should I list them as one huge lot or sell them in smaller lots of 25, 50 or even singles. Also, should I sell them as an action or as buy now at a set price?

Depending on which way I go, any suggestions on shipping charges would also be much appreciated.

Thank you

I would put a list of what you have here in the BST before giving anyone a %

I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the amount that Probstein will get you. He knows the market, has a huge following, and it's a quick turn around from the time you send him your cards until you have money in your paypal account. The BST is fine if you want to piece meal the cards but Rick will get them out there in the public eye and get them sold.
    Good luck!

Keep them here (on the boards) for a week. Whatever does not sell I would consign to Rick P.

Shipping - $2.50 for 1 card; $3.25 for 2-3 cards. You can fit about 10 cards in a small flat rate box for $5.35 (you may want to add D/C and Ins. at that point).

I was faced with a very similar situation a little over a year ago. I had about 75 high grade cards from a set, and wasn't sure how to go about selling them. I decided to consign them to Probstein, because I didn't want to have to deal with the hassle of shipping that many cards. The strategy that worked great for me was - selling off 25 singles each week for three weeks straight. My theory being, if you list all of them the same week, you're going to spread your target audience thin. For example - if you list all 200 cards, and a set registry guy needs 50 of them. He's probably not going to set his top snipe for all 50 of the cards he needs. But if you list 25 singles and he needs 5 of them - he might go all in for those five. Then you repeat this for a few weeks. This is just an idea - and it seemed to work really well for the cards I sold.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do!

I second Jimrad's idea, give the CU board a chance to purchase some of your cards minus the eBay fees...
