    I was helping some kids in a computer lab at a middle school. A kid (8th grade?) came in and this TEACHER in the lab tells the kid,

    "You did GOOD on your exam".

    I waited until after the class had left to ask the teacher what she taught. Her reply... "Language Arts" (the politically correct term in CA. that was the subject that we used to call English). It sure would be nice if political correctness was thrown out and knowledge of the actual subject was required.
