Problem with books that come out during a modern coin series' run is that the book seems out of date within a year or two. From a history perspective should be a good read.

No Way Out: Stimulus and Money Printing Are the Only Path Left

  • honestly on first thought, a book about a series of coins that has not changed design hardly at all, got a little laugh out of me.

I am sure there will be many interesting facts an insights, out side of that though...

Every year or two they can come up with a revised and updated edition.

Bingo ...what's the point ? At the risk of bringing down the wrath of the ASE lovers it's a big "why?" from this corner. I wonder how big chapter 4 is ?

Yeah, you're right. Who needs to read books about Kennedys, Ikes, Morgans, Peace Dollars,... ? image

I like the ASE's and the first thought that came to my mind was.... "WHY??????" It isn't a closed design (ie...it's still active). Not a lot has happened to it besides a yearly numeral change...sure, a few tiny changes in font or finish, but nothing to really write home about. Maybe an article in a magazine. Maybe even a 2-parter. But a book? Ummm...no.

But, would you want to PAY to buy it in order to read it?

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I (really and truly) hope that if it gets published, every microscopic die change is photographed and noted.

(so I can look for errors of course)

    but also for history's sake.

A book that covers the major changes and leaves the minor ones behind just seems incomplete to me.
