Has anyone on here done any business with eBay seller cardboardstars.com?

I bought a 1991 TOPPS CHIPPER JONES from this guy and it came in the mail today. Well opened the envelope and there was a sheet of paper wrapped around the card with typing on it. The card came in a regular #10 envelope, penny sleeve, and top loader which was fine with me seeing there was no damage. My only concern is the wording on the enclosed paper. He only has one neutral feedback from May of this year for something similar. I don't particularly appreciate what he sent with the card, but the card made it to me in 3 days! I guess I'm confused as to what type of feedback to leave or what to say. I've messaged him about the paper, but no response yet. Pictures below of the paper and the card. Thanks for letting me rant!

It looks like it's from a law school course pack or something. What's your concern?
  • No biggie. If he had this written down, I'd be a little nervous (bonus points to who identifies the move --- this should be easy):

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know My name is the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon thee."

My only concern was that I got the card for my 10 year old and wouldn't have wanted to give him the unopened envelope and say, "Surprise, here's your card!". Then he would ask me what it mean and so on. Just a little over protective of him in that sense I guess.

Use common sense and learn from this experience. Don't give your 10 year old an unopened envelope from a stranger on the internet. Problem solved.

I guess any advice is better than no advice.

I also do see anything wrong with it. He probably has a stack of used paper that he wants to put to use instead of just throwing it in the garbage and using a clean piece of paper.

Yeah using a stack of used papers is a good explanation. Thanks.
