How about a Reeding picture post? Show that Third Edge!

A little different, eh? The reeding or edge treatment can be quite important at times. Lettered edges, engrailed rims, diagonal reeding..... An aspect we seldom discuss or illustrate... SO here are the finely reeded rims of four AU Feuchtwanger cents. Note, the high relief of the design, higher than the rims...prevents these coins from stacking.

First pic is the XXX-edge of an 1809 CBH. Second is another CBH showing the effect of misaligned edge lettering. It is sometimes mistaken for post-mint rim damage.
