  • I think the Red Book has some information on Philippine coins in it (at least, my 1999 edition does).

    It also lists:

US Philippine Coins by Lyman Allen (1994)

    and

United States Territorial Coinage for The Philippine Islands by Neil Shafer (Whitman Publishing, 1961)

You'll probably have to seek out the numismatic booksellers/auctions to find copies of these two books, I suspect.

edited to add: You might also want to check the ANA and ANS library catalogs to see what books and articles they have.

Check out the Southern Gold Society

Just sold one on the 'bay for $30. These don't come up too often.
Wonder why noone has done an update in over 5o years?

    "U.S. / Philippine Coins"
    wrtitten by Lyman L. Allen

Updated and Edited by Tom Culhane

Also in every redbook and yearly Krause world coin catalogs 1901-2000 .
Older editions of Lyman Allens have photos of varities.
