Good to know Justlooking. I don't normally follow hobos but thought this was neat. I'll keep an eye out for more.
I don't think I've ever seen a skull on a vintage Hobo Nickel. They all seem to be modern carvings.

Are any vintage hobos attributed to individual artists?
Yes. Sometimes - but not often - they're signed. Usually, the attribution is only based on style and technique.
Signatures are more common on the modern carvings.
