Trouble with Photobucket?

Anyone else having trouble with photobucket adding extra characters to uploaded files?

Been trying to upload photos all morning and it's driving me bonkers!

    a couple of days ago I tried to upload some pictures, everytime I got an error message.
    the Next day everything went OK.
    collector of Greek banknotes - most beautifull world banknotes - Greek & Roman ancient coins.

    I thought I broke it.

    I was trying to log on for a picture of (the wrong) ugly medal for the other thread. It seemed to go well until I got the question marks showing up instead of nice/ugly pictures.

    I've tried logging back in and if I get in I get kicked out pretty quickly. I am on ship off the coast of Africa so I figured either our wifi was restricting the bucket (it's a very small bandwidth) or the bucket didn't like the IP.

    It's a blow to my world view, but maybe it really isn't about me after all? Perhaps it's just the bucket itself???? Gasp!

    Oh well, my medal pictures were the wrong one anyway so no loss it turns out.

    OT, but I'm not likely to make a post about it...I have been A Very Bad Coin Collector. I have NOT obtained coins from all the countries I've visited. Shame on me!

    Seriously! Turns out, not much coinage in Liberia. Use US$ and get back (sometimes) well worn currency. Ghana, got a few coins. Nigeria we didn't get any liberty so no spending opportunities, and I think I have a smattering from one or two of the other countries (Cameroon, Togo, Benin and Republic of Congo). Just not much coinage in use! I'll have to dig into my bags to find out for sure. At one point we were maybe going to jump ship and fly back to Spain, so I have some hastily packed bags. The flight didn't happen but there doesn't seem much point in unpacking them image.

    Okay, back to photobucket...it just let me in and oddly enough I was already signed in. I'll try a photo and see...

    not working. Okay, next I'll copy the url only and use the CU image thingies. I can see there is a difference in the random letter/numbers...

    and success. I am no longer responsible for the demise of photobucket. Perhaps some weird gremlins in the works when I uploaded those photos the other day.

    One of them is showing.

    The bird on the medal looks like a pterodactyl (flying dinosaur bird).
