Coin grading book suggestions?

I have the Grading Coins by Photographs, by David Bowers. It's not bad but the pics are scale size.
IMO the pics should be 2-3x to really see the surfaces. I'm not knocking Bowers or Whitman just a suggestion.
Purchased in the cellophane and went on the dealers comment of a must have book. If I was able to thumb though it I wouldn't have bought it.
I read the entire book, very informative but the pics were lacking. Any suggestions?

Making the Grade, from the editors of Coin World and Coin Values comes one of the easiest to use guides in determining and assessing a coins grade. This expanded 2nd edition of Making the Grade now includes the 50 most widely collected US coins (double the number of the first edition). Each coin series listed features high quality, full-color, detailed photos with grade descriptions and pinpoint areas to inspect. Design high points are highlighted to indicate areas of wear. Visual impairment severity levels are identified by color maps.

+1
There's also the ANA Grading Guide - I don't have a copy, but I've heard it's pretty good.
Some of the specialty books, like Bruce Fox's book on Walkers and the VAM book, include grading guides for their specific series.
Check out the Southern Gold Society
If you take cost and amount of content in mind a subscription to Coin Facts might be the best way to go with material being updated all the time and about $130.00 cost for the year.

<< <i>Ya I have the Making the Grade book by Beth Deisher. Comes in very handy when Im not around a computer and would recommend it. Wish they had trade dollars in it though >>
Agree! But going to the ANA Summer Seminar on grading is better. Make the investment.
