Nolan Ryan 1968 Topps PSA 6 - Worthy of a bump?

I've heard people mention that PSA was tougher on grading "back in the day". Anyone believe there is truth to that? I have the card below incoming and it has one of the old style flips on it. Is it worth sending in for a bump? Especially with the .5 grades now available? All opinions are appreciated!

Thanks
Craig

Agreed with Hallco. Corners are too soft for a 7.

  • I mean no ill will in saying this... that appears to be a very soft PSA 6 at best. Stay away from the crack and resubmit with that one...

I agree with the above comment. If you crack and resub I think the BEST grade you would receive would be a "6". I also think there is a chance that the grade would come in lower.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
  • Looks like a 6 as well.

If you want PSA to change out the case to a newer style one, they"ll do it for $5. Only thing is that you have to pay for insurance for the trip back to you (which they include in the shipping cost)

Not only that but you can even have them check it out for a possible bump while your at it. Of course that will cost a little extra but you can do both things at once.

Overall its a very easy process.
