Can anyone tell me why this group of CWTs sold for so much?

Auction link
The auction was on my radar because of the clip, but I've been dabbling in CWTs a bit lately as there are many great repunching errors and incomplete planchets to find. I suspect the very primitive looking coin, top row second from the left, might be the reason but I'd like confirmation (or a correction).

Incomplete planchets wanted, especially Lincoln Cents & type coins.

Seller did extremely well on some of his exonumia lots and I'm scratching my head on a lot of lots!
Why would someone pay $162.00 for this circulated cleaned and damaged R-1 HT20

Although, I thought stuff like this was relatively common on these CWTs as they often pushed the dies to the point of shattering.
What's the problem?
