Me too!
She isn't the first person to do this, of course.
Five or six years ago, I sent a forum buddy a leftover Indian cent from my holey collection. It was an 1897 cent with nice sharp detail on the obverse, but the reverse had some dark gunk on it. I figured my friend would like it for the obverse details.
He later PM-ed me to thank me for the coin with the "cool little painting" on it, or something to that effect.
I had no idea what he was talking about.
It turned out that the "gunk" on the reverse of that holey 1897 Indian cent was paint, not just random gunk, and it wasn't paint in a random pattern, either.
There was a tiny little landscape painted on the back of the coin!
It was a snowy night scene, featuring a church.
He carefully cleaned the painted portion of it- I guess some of the surface had oxidized- and sent me some pictures.
Pretty cool, huh? This was before I was into love tokens, but even then I thought it was neat. Obviously old work, too.
