Another Rare item on Ebay. Where do people find these?

Although "pre-owned" I fail to understand how this is still available.

Yea, sometimes you just scratch your head and just say WHAT?

  • Every time I see something like that I can almost always be certain they primarily sell thrift store clothes and other junky stuff. I checked and I was right! They get a baseball card and think it's worth a fortune no matter what it is!

I collect PSA cards of the following:
    Billy Ripken
    Cal Ripken, Jr. 1980-2002
    Cal Ripken, Sr.
    Hall of Fame Rookies
  • Even the shipping is overpriced.

I just don’t get how these people ever sell things on eBay (not that this would ever sell) but c'mon. Before I list something as a buy it now, I always check the completed listings to have at least some sort of idea as to what I should be asking for or can expect.

I don’t even like making offers on "Buy It Now" items that also have the option to make an offer if the buy it now price is too high because the sellers lowest price is still ridiculously high compared to other listings of the same items.

CARDS HAVE NOT BEEN COUNTED. ASSUMING COMPLETE SET, SOME CARDS AND STICKERS MAY BE MISSING, OR COMPLETE SET MAY BE PRESENTED. ALL CARDS ARE IN EXCELLENT-PERFECT CONDITION**

So they want $250 for a $10 max item but can't even take the time to count the cards to make sure it's complete. I'm not taking the chance

I didn't realized these had spiked in price. I have 3 sets I need to list quick! image

    Appreciate today-

  • I have a case of those that I could not get $250 for, let a lone a set.

I can't believe that they are handling that Mark Carreon card without gloves, and not in a thick holder or anything... I would never handle anything so rare without protection

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
