Does anyone know where to buy....

Card holders (like 35, 50, or 100 count card holders) for 5x7s? I had sent with a purchase a couple years ago. I could really use 4 or 5 of them.

Try the bay. Here are a few sellers:

    baby*boomers*boutique
    columbiasportscard
    catmoe
    alvasa

These are just a few, I am not suggesting you use any of these. Your best search will be "5 X 7 toploader" or "5X& top loader" or some variation. I like the Card Gaurds by Ultra-Pro.

I was actually trying to be nice because you came off off as a complete a$$hat replying to jmm

"As I said in the original post like 35, 50, and 100 counts"

Really? Were you clear in your request? NO! Not at all. Maybe you could have used the words plastic box, or hinged box instead of insulting people when you have a request.

You also stated you could use four or five of them. Four or five lots of 35? Four or five lots of 100? Again, unclear.

So, to help the crowd here. Yankee is looking for a hard plastic box that will hold 5x7 [ sure hope he mean inches and not millimeters ;-) ] cards or maybe photos. He is looking for the hinged type boxes that BCW makes for regular cards. Can anyone help a$$hat out before he insults someone else?

And thats from the biggest whiner and unethical person on this board.

And also, if you didnt notice, I put "LOL" at the beginning of my response to let people know I thought it was pretty funny. But you can make all the drama you want about it, its fine with me.
  • Wow, anybody that knows Barry knows that he would go out of his way for a fellow collector. He may not have communicated his message as clear as he could have but that is no reason to be mean. It is just an online forum guys image

What am I missing here? I don't see Barry coming across as rude at all? He just stated "Not toploaders" Uh Oh...somebody call the police.

edit: If you're referring to the "as I stated"...so what. I use the term"like I said" in my everyday talk not meaning anything rude by it at all.

LOL. I pinged Barry prior to let him know I was gonna raise some blood pressure. Guess it worked a little too good. image

    It's all good.

And again, I want to thank DCanfield for pointing me in the direction where I can get them. Funny thing is that its just a seller of acrylic boxes for misc items, nothing about sports cards. I'll even share the link if anyone else is interested....
    Uline Acrylic Boxes

And actually, if anyone else is interested in getting boxes to fit 5x7 items, please let me know and see if we can work something out to split an order, maybe even between 4 or 5 people. I think maybe the Finest Jumbos are 5x7? I think there are other box toppers and such that are this size. Also, 84-84 Topps Supers.

Thanks to those who have had nice things to say about me. I really have been a bit frustrated with the entire hobby and I guess it really came through in this thread. Anyway, happy collecting everyone.

Well since Barry is so rude and can't post a working link, I'll help his sorry azz out . . .

Here's the link to ULine Acrylic Boxes...

I'd post a link for Bobby, but that would get me banned!

If you're pasting a link, make sure the "http://" is highlighted. You're duplicating it and you also used the secure "https://" link. There should only be one "http://" in your link. Now, do you have any questions about Milton Bradley cards?
  • yankeeno7yankeeno7 Posts: 9,250 ✭✭✭
Yes, can you link me to where I can be educated on how to tell the difference between a Milton Bradley and a regular Topps? Im really confused on the matter. Maybe there is an expert here who could help me?

  • yankeeno7yankeeno7 Posts: 9,250 ✭✭✭
Bobby, you are just looking for someone to jump on because you are angry that you were proven to be unethical as well as the biggest whiner this board has ever seen. Instead of deflection, how about a little reflection for yourself? Still angry about the 1968 Milton Bradley?
  • yankeeno7yankeeno7 Posts: 9,250 ✭✭✭
And big deal I got a little bunch in my underoos because someone couldnt understand what I was trying to describe. This thread really had to come to this? Freakin amazing. And even more amazing is that the one person who SHOULDNT be calling anyone out does exactly that. I guess trying to make someone else a bad guy here will make others forget about him? I dont think people have that short of a memory.

Whoa the thread was actually still fairly mild up until you and bobby just now now image It was cool how your friends jumped in to defend you, name dropping, etc

Matt (Lawnmowerman) is a personal friend. It's quite natural to call me by my first name. I dont get why that's strange but ok.
  • so i decided to break out my Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robot set, and i made Barry the blue robot because sometimes this website makes him sad and Bobby the red robot because i can just imagine his face turning crimson every time he starts a thread and it cascades downhill like Thousand Island dressing on a chef salad.

then i took a mallet and knocked off both their heads and they quit arguing and just punched each other repeatedly in the chest.

Not strange, kinda campy, but not strange. I liked the fact that all your friends defended you even though you had helped create the storm, very loyal. Not a big deal Yankee notherner, most of us where having fun with the thread.
