1991 upper deck holograms with blankbacks?

I was going through some of my old cards that I put in holder when I was a kid and came across a marcus allen 1991 hologram that had a blankback. The back isn't completely blank.. Its just missing all the text. I remember pulling it from a pack back in the day. Back then these were considered production mistakes and actually worth less.. I was just wondering if there is any value in this.. Or is it still as worthless as it was in 1991.

unfortunately little to no value....maybe a Marcus Allen collector would give you $2 for it if you could find one.

    sorry

    Scan?

Depends on the nature of the error...

    Could be something.

Sounds like it could be a legit variation rather than a printing error.
Always looking for 1993-1999 Baseball Finest Refractors and1994 Football Finest Refractors.

Here are the scans. The front does not have any scuffs on the card that appear in the scan..

Just wondering if anyone thinks its worth tossing into a 45 day special.. Or just toss it period? The trouble I'm having with it is that back in the day these were considered printing flaws and actually worth less than a regular card.. Lately I've seen cards that were printed with a missing colore ect... Sell for a premium. I also have some 91 stadium club missing the foil and action packed all madden missing the foil.. Same questioon for those

  • Actually cool lookin' card and would send in on the 45 day special when possible to blow money in the hobby for self fun. Otherwise:

    I'd buy THAT for a dollar !

There's enough error/variation collectors to make it not worth tossing it, put it on Ebay and let it roll, I don't think getting it graded would add a lot of value though, especially when you would get in back February on a 45 day special.
  • My guess is PSA wouldn't grade that since it is a factory defect. Unless it is listed in a guide somewhere.

I pulled some jordan wrongback (Robinson) holograms out of a 1991 Upper Deck BK box last year and sent them in - PSA wouldn't grade them...
