FS: 1897 Barber Half Dollar in PCGS XF45 OGH - $275

Up for sale is this nice 1897 (P) Barber Half Dollar in a choice XF - PCGS XF45 in an older Green Holder (OGH) .. Pix are from my very fancy and ultra expensive iPhone (version 4a). I always allow a full 10 day return privilege and will pay for your return shipping if you feel I did not describe the product appropriately. There is plenty of luster despite the images not showing it and the coin has nice smooth surfaces. Sharp detail with smooth surfaces would indicate the coin is nearly AU, although I personally feel the XF45 grade is perfect.

Collectors pursuing mid to higher circulated Barber coinage are quite aware of the scarcity of problem-free/certified pieces. Most of the "P" dates are amongst the easier of the coins to locate. Casual collectors are quite familiar with the low mintage and scarcity of the 1913-1914-1915 trio of coins. many are not aware of the other "P" dates that are quite scarce in the series. Amongst these are typically the 1896, 1903 and 1897 (BCCS Surveys back this data up).
Personal check, money order or bank check only please. $275 includes USPS shipping with delivery confirmation. Coin will be securely packaged in a T-Mailer in a size 0 bubble mailer:

Congratulations on the sale of what I consider the
Prime Example of what all XF 45's should look like.
Had I browsed the BST's sooner, I would have been
the owner instead of an on looker.
Nice coin !!
