I would say they were all the same except for patch. That's a bit more specific and refers to the decarative portions of the jersey as opposed to the plain color parts of the jersey.

As card manufacturers use the terms, there are other differences. As sellers use the terms, lots of slightly different things get lumped together.
Going to what card manufacturers say, everything is a relic. A swatch is a relic that is fabric (as opposed to a piece of bat, stick, ball, etc.). Game-used means the relic was a piece of something worn/used by a player (or occasionally coach) in a game, as opposed to a photo shoot or some other event. Some card manufacturers consider things worn during warmup for a game to be game-used. This usually is noticed in the case of a relic that is not a jersey - a warmup jacket, shooting shirt, etc. A jersey is a specific part of the uniform - you will also find cards that are game-worn caps, shoes, pants, gloves, etc. For most players, a game-worn jersey card is more valuable than a game-worn pants card, and in the case of vintage HOFers, the difference can mean a jersey card is 2 or 3 times as expensive as a pants card. A patch, as stated by cwazzy, is those parts of the jersey that are not part of the basic background. Note that most patches are one color.
And something else of interest; some "relics" will have disclaimer that the item could be a "representation" or a "similiar" artifact. I guess this leaves the door wide open for interpertation. It could be a different players item. I have a Piazza card with a piece of the back wall or pads from the fence. Since he was a Dodger at the time, you would think the material would be Dodger blue. I think the color is black. I don't ever rememeber the back wall being black. I remember I used to joke that it was prolly a piece of the rain tarp.
