Just found a 1917-D cent in the till at work, a few minutes ago.

Cool, huh? I mean, not major big deal cool, but it put a smile on my face.
Had greenish scuz on Abe and I thought it would be corroded. However, once I put my specs on for a closer look, and wiped it gently with a tissue, it proved to be fine- the scuz came right off.
I'd say it's probably G6 or so. Well worn, but not a cull like I'd thought.
This is the oldest cent (or coin in general) I've found in circulation in years. Maybe more than a decade.

That's definitely a date you do not find often in circulation or rolls
