What is the most spammed keyword in eBay's card section?

I would have to think it's PSA.

Auto is my guess. So many cards that get listed with "not auto"

    Appreciate today-

Yes, as in "1987 Topps Football Walter Payton SGC 96 (9) not PSA"

99% of people who sell SGC put PSA in the title. I'm part of the 1%.
  • There is one seller that spams a players rookie card years. For instance I search for a 2002 Joey Votto and I see listings for other cards of Votto that are clearly not that year. The description is like "2002 ~2004 ~2008"...

But I would guess PSA is one of the most spammed keywords out there. In general, as long as its relevant I am tolerant. But if its just words to get you to see the card when you are not looking for it, it annoys the crap out of me because it makes it harder to filter.
  • Few things annoy me more than when RAW cards show up in any search I am running that includes "PSA". I specifically put that in my search so that I don't have to sift through your crappy, overpriced raw cards. I've thought about buying from sellers who do that just to neg them. Never done it, but I've thought about it.

Yes, I realize that it would be extremely petty to do that. Still might someday.

PSA spamming is really bad. I would use ebay way more without the spamming. Wish I could block sellers that do it.

There's a lot of bccg cards that have "bgs" in the listing too.

You and me both! There's a guy that sells autographed cards that puts PSA in every title that doesn't have a PSA card in his inventory. Another guy puts "PSA Ready" in almost every title. Well, pretty much any card that PSA grades is PSA ready. It could be a PSA 1, but technically it is "PSA Ready". I specifically WILL NOT buy from any seller that does this crap. I figure if they cost me time by having to sort through their crap, then they don't get my business. But, the temptation to buy something and then complain when it doesn't come back Mint 9 is very tempting...

    Ruth.

may not be the most, but definitely over-abused.

In case you don't know, if you use a saved search, you can add "-ready" to it so those auctions won't show up.

    eg. 1975 Topps PSA -ready
