When and Why did PSA change their Grading Sticker?

I was just wondering when and why PSA Changed their Logo?

Maybe I have OCD but I hate the newer logo (Most of the cards on eBay are new).

They have a Square Border instead of a Rounded Border.

It is where the White Part meets the Red Part on top of the Slab where the grade, card number, player name, etc. is.

I only buy cards with the Original Rounded Border because they Square one drives me nuts and very few cards available today have that rounded look.

Why did PSA Change it?

I will include two pictures to show you the difference if you do not know what I am talking about.

I have to scower eBay to find the like 1 in 200 that are Old PSA Cards. It is very hard on the eyes and time consuming.

So you are definitely a buy the holder, not the card kinda guy. LOL

I had never noticed. And it really wouldn't bother me. I'm more concerned with the cardboard in the holder than the stupid label.

In the 2 examples you give, one is pre 1/2 point grading and one is post 1/2 point grading. It's been about 4 or 5 years now that they changed. The only reason you see sellers advertise a card being in a old holder is they are suggesting you may be able to resubmitt for at least a 1/2 point increase of grade. Otherwise, it's just you!

In response to the post above mine, I would actually recommend Luvox (fluvoxetine), a drug a little more specific for the OP needs.

They changed Many Years before the Half Grades came out.

I stand mistaken, you are correct. I found a couple of my cards pre 1/2 pointers that have the rounded corners. I do think though that I know why PSA changed styles: " Just to drive you nuts"!

Buy a red sharpie and mark up the holder to round the corners. If you ever switch over to liking square corners simply erase.

So, Dexter season 6 had been sittin' in the 'long wait' status on Netflix for 3 months. Finally, out of nowhere and with other available movies in the queue, and while Dexter was stil listed as 'long wait' - Disc one was shipped ! I watched the 3 episodes in one evening and returned the disc the following day. A couple days later I get a MOVIE ! Not the Dexter season 6 disc 2, a MOVIE ! And NOW Dexter season 6 disc 2 is on 'long wait' status.

Do what my wife and I do... buy the season on DVD, watch it all in a weekend, then sell it on ebay and get most of your money back. After it's all said and done it costs us about $8 to "rent". Instant gratification, totally worth it.

haha ! we actually dd do that for Breaking Bad season 4. Netflix long wait for months. Did the bestbuy 20 buck purchase and got I think 9 back on ebay. yep, a smarter way to do this. Still pending in long wait : boardwalk empire, homeland .. and in 'unknown release date' the recent seaons of mad men, californication. game of thrones, justified, the borgias and weeds. might again just go to best buy.

oh sorry op'er, back to what you were talking about.
