<< <i>Good strike. Great luster. Perhaps a few polish lines. Better than average.

Not so according to Larry Briggs' comments in his "Comprehensive Encyclopedia of Liberty Seated Quarters".
Several obverse dies described as having softly impressed stars, with no centrils. Several reverse dies described as having weakened reverse design from heavy die polishing, and weakly impressed portions of legend lettering. "In general, a very poorly struck year."

Agreed. I've seen several unc examples with extensive die cracks as well. Not as common in gem as most think either.
???
Here is mine, it's only a VF though, probably too much wear to tell on the strike.
<< <i>i recently purchased one with semi PL surfaces, extremely heavy die polishing even over the devices, fully struck denticles, but a few weakness points: the sandal is not worn but not fully struck, an area to the right of the date appears weakly struck, what does everyone think? >>
You need to post a pic of it, are you sure it's not roller marks?
