Anyone ever sent back ms70 spotted ASE's before?

I just sent off 20 ms70 heavily spotted ASE's back for regrade guarantee. Don't see how these could regrade at a 70.Was wondering if anyone here has done the same and what their outcome is. I hated to pay the $25/coin upfront, but expect it to be refunded. Please share your experiences with this. Thanks

They offer you a difference in the downgraded grade or they keep the coin and give you current market money back.
Can't ask more from a great company!!!
Easy to deal with....no hassles

The only experience I had with spots is a 2010 SAE Pf 70 PCGS that I bought from a dealer. When I got it in hand there were spots everywhere.I sent it back to the dealer and got a spotless one.He lamely tried to tell me so what its still a Pf 70
<< <i>did they also refund the $25 to regrade? >>
When is sent a coin in for this I was charged the 25 and they fixed the coin. Later when sent in for regrade one of the coins upgraded. Not sure if they regrade as part of spot review and have not heard of the money being refunded. I thought the 25 was the service you were paying for.
<< <i>At this time if you send coins in for spot review, PCGS doesn't charge you for the service. I think you have to pay for shipping both ways. I currently have 14 ASEs from 25th sets at PCGS. They arrived there two months ago so hopefully I'll get a verdict soon. With previous submissions for spots on 3 ms gold coins, PCGS fixed them and they came back the same grade. My single previous ms70 ASE with spots was unsalvagable and PCGS sent me a market value check. >>
Was the market value = PCGS price guild?

...or at least a couple of coupons for some big macs.
I didn't check the price guide at the time. It was a 07W ms70 ASE first strike and the check was for (I think) $110 which was about ten bucks more than I had paid for the coin on ebay. The coin arrived with spots-which weren't visible in the sellers photos- and the sellers refused a return. PCGS kept the coin.
The 14 ASEs at PCGS developed the spots after purchase. I bought most of them just as the graded 25th sets hit the market. I made a couple from mint purchases. Most were ms coins and a few RevPr with beige toning spots that I bet will be fixable. Three are proofs with milk spots that are likely goners. All were 70s.
